Marcus Redford

Marcus Redford is Director and owner of Redford & Co Limited, the firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers that supports Sazy Capital's accounting and tax requirements. He advises on accounting, tax structuring and compliance across the group's activities.

Redford began his career at BDO Stoy Hayward, then one of the largest international accountancy firms operating in the UK, qualifying with the practice in 2003. He went on to specialise in corporation tax for large corporates, taking responsibility for the tax affairs of a number of high street retail groups that remain in business today.

That combination of technical corporate tax expertise and hands-on experience of owner-managed and internationally trading businesses underpins his work with Sazy Capital, where the requirement is for advice that spans both institutional structuring and the practical demands of a growing private investment platform.

Redford & Co was established in London in 1968 by Peter Redford, initially serving clients drawn largely from the film and advertising industries. Under Marcus Redford's leadership, the practice has broadened well beyond that base and today acts for small growing companies and mid-sized firms, typically with turnover below £50 million and frequently with international trade. It provides the full suite of services, from tax advisory through to statutory audit.

Redford is a qualified accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and a Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT). He holds a BSc from the University of Manchester.
