Serhat Çeçen

Before establishing this independent platform, Çeçen spent the formative years of his career as a shareholder and senior executive at IC Ibrahim Çeçen Yatırım Holding, one of Turkey’s leading diversified conglomerates. There he specialised in the financial structuring, corporate development and international partnership-building required for major infrastructure projects. He played a central role in the Third Bosphorus Bridge (a landmark Build-Operate-Transfer scheme delivered alongside Italy’s Astaldi), a 425-megawatt renewable energy portfolio that secured significant backing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Antalya Airport BOT concession.

This experience in assembling complex, multi-jurisdictional projects and balancing commercial, operational and institutional interests directly informs Sazy Capital’s disciplined, partnership-driven approach to investment.

In the UK, he has also founded two complementary businesses: New Richmond Properties, focused on residential letting and management, and New Richmond Developments, a premium residential developer active in Virginia Water, the Wentworth Estate and central London. Together, these entities give Sazy Capital both institutional reach and hands-on delivery capability.

Alongside his commercial work, Çeçen supports educational and cultural initiatives through the IC Foundation in Turkey and the Quintessentially Foundation in the United Kingdom. He maintains a strong interest in sustainability, green innovation and the contribution that patient private capital can make to economic and social development.
